My day started with our daily dog walking, taking Basil over Compton down and up to Spread Eagle Hill and back. It was lovely and sunny and a fantastic start to the day.
Then the baking and cooking began, making a Victoria Sandwich for Sir’s Birthday, chilli burgers for Isabel and Her ladyship’s supper and Bolognaise Sauce for the weekend and for the freezer. I finished with a little ironing, changed a light bulb!!! and was off home until this evening, when I return to cook their evening meal.
